Construction Management Job Duties and Tasks

 

As a construction project manager, a lot of important tasks fall upon your shoulders, including:

 

1) Scheduling out the project (ensuring logical steps are taken and time is budgeted as required by deadlines)

 

2) Dictating labor requirements (sending workers to construction sites as required)

 

3) Inspecting & reviewing projects (overseeing compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations)

 

4) Drawing up contracts & negotiate revisions, additions, and changes (managing contractual agreements with clients, subcontractors, architects, and consultants)

 

5) Acquiring all required permits and licenses

 

6) Supervising & managing workers (on the job site)
