Popular Publication Now Available in Spanish

Reading notes from the latest Concrete Construction Magazine, we see that the popular and helpful publication from the CRSI called PLACING REINFORCING BARS has now been updated and is now available in Spanish! This 288 page soft bound book is now in it’s 9th printing and includes expanded coverage of contractor (dropped) bars, updated and expanded coverage of bar supports, spiral fabrication tolerances and fast-bar placement according to the current Manual of Standard Practice.

This is quite a unique publication that presents the most accepted and up to date practices in placing rebar is structures and pavements. While it is written for apprentices, it is used by journeymen and inspectors alike. In eighteen chapters it covers topics that include general principles for bar placement, splicing, tying and bar placement in walls, columns, floors and more.
